A bridge we kept coming back to
The Ben Franklin Bridge is the spine of this collection. Cotton Candy is the sky going pink and the bridge going teal, shot from a drone. Keyhole looks through the steel at City Hall with the sky on fire behind it. Blue Hour hovers level with the tower as the last orange slips under the cloud and the city switches on. Night Crossing looks straight down the deck after dark with Camden glowing across the river. From the ground, Rowboat, Cherry Street and Under the Lights put the bridge behind an old green boat, a tug and a string of December lights.
Away from the river, Billy Penn is William Penn from the air, hat on, hand out. Burnt Orange cuts Center City out black against a burning sky. Elfreth's Alley and Sage Shutters are front doors on America's oldest residential street, green shutters and old brick. Ghost Sign is a hand-painted Trenton China Pottery ad still fading on a wall.
Finding the right wall
Night Crossing, the Ben Franklin Bridge from above at night, is the big landscape piece for over a sofa or sideboard. The Elfreth's Alley door print is quieter and works in a kitchen, hallway or guest room. Ghost Sign and One Way, both vertical, make a strong pair in a stairwell. Rowhouse buyers tell us Neighbors, the teal and red doors, ends up by the front door.
Printed to order in California
Every piece is made by a professional fine art lab with archival pigment inks on fine art paper, or on canvas or metal. Framed prints are black with a white mat. Sizes match each photo's proportions, so the bridge towers are never clipped. Production takes three to five business days, US shipping is $8 or free over $70, and damaged or defective prints are replaced within 30 days.
Up the corridor, our New York City prints continue the bridge theme with the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. For a West Coast counterpart, see San Francisco prints.
Questions, answered
Which Philadelphia print shows the Ben Franklin Bridge best?
Cotton Candy and Blue Hour are the full aerial views at sunset. Night Crossing looks straight down the deck after dark. Keyhole frames City Hall through the steel. All four are available framed, on canvas or metal.
Are the aerials real drone photographs?
Yes. Cotton Candy, Blue Hour, Night Crossing, Billy Penn, Tied Up and Before the Fireworks were all flown and shot by Mo over the Delaware and Center City.
What does the framed option include?
A black frame with a white mat around an archival pigment print on fine art paper, assembled by the lab and shipped ready to hang. Unframed, canvas and metal options are on every product page.
How long does production and shipping take?
Three to five business days to print, then transit. US shipping is $8, free over $70. We replace anything that arrives damaged within 30 days.
